Love this build, could be worth posting a link or pics to this thread?

http://forum.retro-r...repurposed-pics

Starts off owner-jeep related, but halfway through the first page someone asks what the UK equivalent would be...

Just registered. No option to put pictures up though.

I access it on a mobile, but have to click into desktop mode (bottom right on forum page) then when I reply there is an option to load pics that are stored on my phone. Maybe you need to have a certain number of posts as well?

Want me to put a couple up?

Sorry I've missed much of this thread, just had a little time this morning for a squint.

Hubba, you've done a smashing job of building this car up, true to your original thoughts at the start of this. It is a real credit to you.

Be great to try it on a Desert run :D

Is that a Camo 'bag-for-life' on the front?  >_<

I'm not sure what the one on the bonnet is for but the one hanging off the front bumper is a canvas water bag, as you drive, with water evaporation, it cools the water ;D  They were once very popular and while they still can be purchased, we hardly see them anymore. I think the advent of Air Conditioning, Electric Windows and Car Fridges has killed them off.

Exciting day today. Haven't done much recently, been at busy at work. I nice little package arrived from Rayvern Hydraulics. The start of my hydraulic suspension.

I can't show too much of it as Ray doesn't want people copying the design.

exactly cant say as I cant see all the parts but it does remind me of the old Landrover remote airfilter for extreme conditions.

I see ram pipes and socks and housing for the Weber and I see a remote filter and some pipes to make a cold/clean air induction "system" a kinda snorkel.

Yep following a picture posted by spider in the moke section made I dicided to make a cold air induction system with an air ram on the wing that can be blocked off in dirty/sandy conditions and take the air via an air filter pre cleaner on a snorkel. Got an old k&n air filter to modify and make it into a plenum. Putting the 2 socks inside.
