mmm LCB clamps. them bolts are going to be a pain. I would rotate the clamps around as you don't want then catching on any rough stuff.

The clamps are a pain. They touch each other! The 'Y' pipes are really close and if try to rotate the clamps round it spins the other one on the pipe. I could turn the bolt round.

I think it's square on both sides with a D shaped washer. I'll have a look in a bit

Yep, square holes on both sides. Think I would have 'made' it fit otherwise.Attached File  20180726_165026_resized.jpg   44.53K   1 downloadsAttached File  20180726_165619_resized.jpg   34.46K   2 downloadsAttached File  20180726_165540_resized.jpg   42.56K   3 downloads

Something I've been meaning to ask people. With my wiper wheel boxes in upside down are they going to park upwards.Attached File  20180726_203509_resized.jpg   49.97K   0 downloads

They would do, but did I notice the motor has also flipped sides? Safest thing is to make a pointer out of masking tape to test what they do.

...I'll take that back, one of your other piccies had me thinking it  was under the bonnet. So yes it will - if it's a RHD Mini motor. No reason why it should be though, they're available with all sorts of configurations of park and sweep, including adjustable. It's all down to the drive wheel.

We'll soon see. I'll take the wipers off when I test them (especially as they cost £40)

Nice, simple little fix today. For some reason all heater fan switches seem to be 2 speed settings. No good for me. Then wondered if the switches were servicable. So took a spare one apart to see and ittranspires you can just pop the switch off the front and put it on a single on/off fog light switch. Job done. Don't know why AMC used a double on switch for an on/off heater. Had to change it as it would just do my head in.Attached File  20180727_112747_resized.jpg   55.96K   1 downloadsAttached File  20180727_112843_resized.jpg   74.61K   0 downloads

Loving this build - always great to see someone do something completely different to everyone else.

Just shows how individual Minis (and variants) can be.

As I bought new headlights, I found the lens rattles about. Not exactly a snug fit.Attached File  20180728_162655_resized.jpg   39.52K   0 downloads
Been thinking of the best way to address this, ended turning the Cub into a black edition with some edging trim.
