I've disliked every mock-military vehicle i've ever seen.... untill i saw this one :-) .

A truly outstanding build: absolutely luv the thought & effort that has gone into improving/modifying so many parts in new & innovative ways  .

That's praise indeed. Thank you. Nearly there now. Last night filled and bled the clutch. Got rid of brake fluid level wiring, finished off the breather pipework. Hopefully finish wiring and fluids in asap.

Anybody got a clue or give me a pointer please. White/red wire in engine bay. Looks like it would reach coil or dizzy. Wiring diagram says the other end is going to starter relay. Thanks in advance.

WR tends to be the wire that gets things started.

where it goes depends on what is at the other end.

might help

Found another. So now TWO white/red wires, both terminate at same place. This is looking like an auto box loom. May be going to auto transmission starter inhibitor switch? Haynes manual says they should be white/light green!?

Just seen your reply. Definitely looks like the auto inhibitor then. Cheers.

Been doing the wiring over the past couple of weeks. Right pain in the arse.
I've got so many different sizes of flexible conduit. Nearly done that bit. Just trying to get it as neat as poss.

Had a break from wiring and did my rocker gaps. That highlighted a new issue, could not select 2nd or 4th gear. Hmmmm. As the gear box was rebuilt by Mr Guess I looked elsewhere. Remembering there were different lengths of gear rod brace bar and must have put a longer one on a shorter selector rod. An hour and half later. Swapped over the top rod, but I had to remount the gear lever housing 10mm closer to the engine. Now I need to some how tidy up where it bolts through the floor.

Also finally tightened up the 3rd gear bias spring. I am supprised how it makes the feel of the gear lever. Makes it feel like a modern car. Hopefully soon see what it's like to drive with.

mmm LCB clamps. them bolts are going to be a pain. I would rotate the clamps around as you don't want then catching on any rough stuff.
