Has anyone got any idea what this connector is for. The loom is supposed to be off a late 80s early 90s loom be for the washer bottle was put in the boot?! The wires are orange/red and black. It goes to rear right.Attached File  20180618_220256_resized.jpg   27.26K   1 downloadsAttached File  20180618_220211_resized.jpg   31.96K   1 downloads

Is a dim dip resistor needed? The cub shell never had one on but my replacement loom has the connector for it.

This arrived today. Didn't fancy welding an extension on the gear lever so thought sod it. Every mini (or mini derived alternative) should have some KAD on it. Shouldn't it? Extended (14cm more than standard) KAD quick shift for mokes.

Had to get it fitted straight away.

Not having an exhaust tunnel made it a bit easier to do the side bolts. Had to take the rod change off the car though to drift the pins out.

Good work. I love the attention to detail on this. And its just the right level of mad!
How did you open up the Tim gauge? I want to get rid of the ‘TURBO’ on mine since it’s supercharged; but I was too scared of breaking it.

I just gently prised round the rear of the bezel with a small screwdriver and then round again with a larger one until I could squeeze past the lip. I bought an old knackered one off eBay to practice firstly. I will try a Smiths bezel on it to match the others.
