Your be gutted if you do. Just keep at it, dont take shortcuts and do it right. It will worth it in the end

  

How's this wee project going?

Andolutely terrible! No, needing to spend some time on it, but haven’t for a while. Sold my Mini GP and been busy getting a replacement sorted for it (collecting early january).

Given the pickup is such a big project, I have thought a couple of times about selling it.

..there's a lot to do for sure, and it may at times seem like a never ending task, I'm sure if you break it down into a list of realistically achievable steps (..however small..), each time you tick an item off you remind yourself you're making progress.

Stick at it and the sense of achievement at the end will be remembered far longer than the moments of doubts along the way

Crikey, over a year since my last update to this thread. 

 

No actual work on the pickup, but I have managed to get some mk1 B post a after lot of searching, will need some work, but, it’s a major step forward.

I’ve had this for almost 10 years, and decided it was about time to get it back on the road ?.

 

The pickup is a major project. At rye moment, I’d be better off with something I can run and enjoy, rather than a major rebuild. Keeping my eye out for a useable mk1.

So, decision made, and what’s left of the pickup will be coming up for sale. Huge undertaking, but certainly worth doing. I’m just not going to have the time to do this - certainly in the short to medium term, so I’m going to get a useable roadworthy mini to use and enjoy.
