What's the best way to remove it? I'm in the process of fixing up my mini. It needs tons of welding,so I started to strip out the interior today. I removed the rear cards and seats. On the inside of the rear wings is a sheet of bitumen sound deadening anti vibration stuff. I tried to chip it off but it's well stuck on. Any ideas?

I had to remove it from my floor and everywhere else
Was a pain in the ass
But I used a heat gun and something flat to scrape it off

Heat gun to soften it on the quarter panels. The floor will chip off with a decent scraper and hammer.

That's great,I will do that tomorrow. I'm lucky as my mini doesn't have it on the floor.

I found it easier when it was cold, around 10°C, it just chipped off with a hammer and chisel.

It was a bit colder than that today, and it was still like treacle. It also looks like it's slid down at some point as its nearly in the sill....or what's left of it.
