Right it got to the point where i had not been near the pickup due to too many work hours and a highly demanding girlfriend.....
Now i have a bigger power sander MWHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! (no i didn't murder the girlfriend, tempting but no......)
Its to dark for photos, but on the rear passanger side i attacked. There was in places upto 3mm or more of filler..... the muppet that did the "body work" must of had a back log of filler and a hobby of sculpting (badly)
The drivers side of the car is not too bad ( i hope), there where far less cracks coming through, fingers crossed.
The front end is going to be patched up for now (this year), so id the floor, I want to drive the blo*dy thing. Its been too long since it was on the road.
It will never win a show, be in a magazine or be the fastet. But it will be driven and thats what matters...
Oh and the paint job, black paint! lots of black paint!!!!

Now where did i put that beer..... to the fridge!!!!!!!

Just done the same thing mate, I know how you feel. It'll come good in the end though if you do it properly and don,t leave any gaps in your filler.

many beers!!! the beers are almost gone..... why do the beers always go?
anyway, thanks miniboo, i can now remove those photos and add new ones..... still have not done the photo bucket thingy bob...
well, i found my power sander in the form of an angle grider with an uber flap sandy wheel thingy (a highly technical term i belive....) got to be fecking carefull though, can damage the metal if im not.
Im going to run with matt black paint, don't think i have seen a pick up with it (this is not a point to pull out a 300 year old thread to prove me wrong....)
now where is the beer.....
