Seriously if the quality of their panels recently is anything to go by i would be very very wary of buying one of these shells. My Clubman Heritage bonnet is atrocious and not what i was expecting.
If i was forking out that sort of money i would expect no multi piece floors but as the damn thing would have left the factory originally.

Fifty years after the last Mark 1 Mini rolled off the production line, British Motor Heritage Limited have recreated this iconic vehicle's bodyshell for the benefit of Mini enthusiasts worldwide. Features specific to the Mark 1, such as external door hinges, sliding windows and many others have been recreated using a mix of traditional and modern engineering techniques.

The first Mk1 Heritage bodyshell for customer delivery is now at Minispares seen below, the fit, finish and Mk1 details are reported to be much improved compared to the prototype shell seen at classic shows. More details and photos of this shell can be found on the Mk1 Forum in the 'Technical talk' section.

Hi
looking at reselling a mk1
what are the obvious differences between the BMH shell and a “real one”. Reading this thread from 2016/17 there seem to be a few deal breakers, such as:
- rear window needs to be smaller
- use two bolt front subframe
- hole in the boot bulkhead
- dash rail (though I admit I can’t see the difference)
if anyone can advise on the current status of the BMH shell that would be good.

The new BMH Shell is for a 1964 Mk1 so shows some of the things done to make it more accurate for this year.
