Looks fantastic, bet it feels a lot safer now all of the work has been done :) I always liked the original dash.
I was previously unaware of all the bodges that Ben came across during the works, I definitely feel safer driving it now

What a great result.
Thanks for sharing your update with us John.
I'm really pleased that you are enjoying the car.
The new grille really makes a difference, There was previously a bit too much gloss black for my liking. New chrome bumpers will really finish it off i think
Cheers

A few more changes, after many bids on e-bay I have managed to get a decent chrome front bumper and a reasonable rear bumper, I have also added an expansion tank on the cooling system (from a rover SD1) which seems to have solved the minor loss of coolant and also allows me to check the coolant level easier.
I am happy with the way the car is looking on the outside and its also running really well, my next task (money permitting) is to replace the carpets and tidy up the inside.

A very nice GTDigging through my old pictures and found this and thought it might interest you (with its body colour roof) Vermillion 1275GT from the early 1980s. The wheels were Compomotives 12x5s and would fit without arches. It later went on to have an Oselli 1380cc engine fitted, still kept the same standard outward appearance. Like lots of people I now wish I hadn't sold it.
