Hi Ben
Excellent progress and it's good to see the original seats replacing the massive bucket seats that were in the car when I bought it.

Steady progress today.
I got the bootlid fitted as well as the rear bumper
The doors are also back on now
I also bled the brakes and clutch and started working through the electrical issues.
The last of the parts should be all fitted tomorrow so the car will be complete again.
Cheers

I should be able to give you a completion date next week after the MOT and roadtest.
Not much left to do now.

I have finished building up the doors now and finally sorted out all of the electrical issues so everything works now.
I also fitted the windscreen, washer bottle and washer motor
Left to do now is fit the dashboard, service the engine, fit the bonnet, flat and polish the paintwork, stick on the 1275GT decals and arch trims and then MOT.
Cheers

Is there not a better way of running the heater pipe?
Don't bother connecting it to the manifold and run it straight out of the hole in the bulkhead to the connector?

Ben has just re-instated what was there before, but I do agree it would look much tidier running it straight to the connector.

Is that servo take off open too?
Posted 27 January 2017 - 08:23 PM
The servo take off is blanked off as it was when it came in.
I agree about the hose arrangement, It would look better if the inlet manifold was bypassed and the hose was taken out.
John, would you like me to do this?
Cheers

Not at all. It's a good call and would make things tidier.
