Very late to the party but I've just found this thread and I say again, your work is outstanding Ben! I've finally figured out what a flitch panel is too!
My map from the last thread is haunting me even more now

Looks like he missed a bit on the inside - bottom of the lower dash rail at the switch panel aperture.
More likely a reflection though looking at the quality of the shine!

Nope, you are quite right.
We noticed it the following morning and so it will be rectified when the rest of the paint is done.
Cheers

Cheers guys.
Got a clutch to fit to it's engine tomorrow and then that can go back in along with the rear subframe which is being painted in the morning and we will be rolling by the end of the week.

Canna beat an orange Clubman! Tremendous finished result from what you started with, a good strong shell that'll last for decades, lovely job.

Update soon...

I have been beavering away on this between other jobs that i have had to do.
I am running all new brake lines throughout so i have been making them up and fitting them.
Started with the front lines
I also removed the clutch assembly to check for wear and then refitted it once it was found to be fine.
I have also got new tower bolt bushes to go on.
I have fitted the steering rack, pedal box and master cylinders and also made and fitted new brake lines there too
And the steering column and dash rails have been installed
We have had to paint the bootlid and bonnet too in the end so that we can get a perfect colour match but the bonnet had some dents along the front so the customer decided to have them repaired so I have done that today and both have been painted this afternoon along with the subframe
I ran the rear loom and a new battery live cable and installed the rear lights
I need to put the front loom in before anything else which will now route in it's original position since i removed the webber box. I had to source a blanking plate for the rotodip hole which the loom passes through so i have been waiting for it to be painted so i can do that.
And now it has been
So that can go in tomorrow
Also picture are the radius arm brackets.
I did go to install the wiper motor but found the thread on one of the wheelboxes is corroded and so the nut won't screw on satisfactorily so a new one has been ordered.
More tomorrow
Cheers

I have now fed the loom through the new bulkhead plate and installed it in the car
And I have refitted the engine and subframe assembly
It's all bolted up and just needs plumbing in
I made up and installed the last of the new brake lines onto the rear subframe and fitted it to the car
Excuse the mess of Timber and pallets in the background. They were all necessary for refitting the front subframe without scratching anything
I have now cleaned and installed the N/S radius arm complete with new rubber cone and knuckle joint and the car is very close to rolling
Just the other side to bolt on again with a new cone and knuckle and then i can put it on it's wheels. I may leave the handbrake cable until I have it running and then i can do it on the ramp.
There is some poor wiring additions to sort out before it will run so that will be sorted out shortly.
I do have a small paint job penciled in for tomorrow so I may not get much done.
Cheers
Ben

Hi Ben
Great progress, the Mini is looking really good especially with all the bits going back on to a fresh looking car, however just when you think it's all straightforward it does keep throwing up suprises for you like the poor wiring additions. Hopefully that's the last one ?
