Wow, long time since I've been on here, those who have been around long enough to remember the project for Zoe's first car. Well she gets married next year. Where has the time gone?

 

I've though about it for ages and the car still isn't getting used. Sitting on the drive is not helping either so it's time to go.

 

Link to the project here for those who haven't seen but be warned, it doesn't look quite so shiny now although it still starts on the button and drives fine.

I'll pop some recent pictures up over the next couple of days but just wanted to take the first step to finding the car a new home.

 

All the bits & bobs work but it will need some attention to paint and possibly the drivers door skin.

 

Probably needs more time & a dry garage to work in, rather than a barrow load of cash. All the expensive bits & toys have been bought & fitted.

 

Feature car In Mini magazine a few years back.

 

Full leather interior with MGF seats.

 

MPI steering column & switchgear

 

4 Pot brakes, Hi Lo's

 

1310 engine, SW5 cam, flowed head, 1.5 rockers, maniflow 2 box, full megajolt etc, etc, etc

 

I put 4 brand new Yokohama A800's on for the last MOT as the Falkens had perished through lack of use.

 

No current MOT but will be a discussion point dependent on price realised.

 

Asking price to conform with forum rules  £2999 but happy to negotiate with the right buyer.

Hi yes it is at the moment. I will take some pictures tomorrow afternoon as it's been dark all week when I've got home. Will add them to the thread and email some to you.

Fuel line fixed, running a treat and now had a wash and scrub up. Came up quite nice & when it fired up I started thinking,,,,,,,,, Should I be getting rid???

 

But yes, it's the right thing to do.

 

As soon as photobucket is back up & running , I'll upload some current pictures.
