I am not listing this in the breaking section, as it is not a mini so didn't seem appropriate.

I am breaking this car as a result of it being written off by the insurance company after a relatively slow speed rear end shunt. It destroyed the bumper, but has also creased the boot floor and bent the cross member/impact bar - whatever it is called. The estimated cost of repairs at a Ford garage was over 2K, hence it being written off.

Everything on this car that can be salvaged is available. The engine is in pretty good condition, and ran smoothly throughout the whole time I have owned it. The timing belt was done at approximately 75k from memory. The car was on 65K when I bought it, and is now on 103k. It has been trouble free motoring the whole time.

I had to spend a little at the last MOT; tyres, new front discs and pads, rear suspension springs, and a couple of other little bits but nothing serious. This was all less than 2k miles ago (I think; I will check the mileage on the MOT certificate). It was done in June or July from memory.

There was a slight oil leak from the rocker cover but I changed the gasket a while back and its been fine since. The cooling system works absolutely fine, never over heated at all. Air con works, car heats up quite quickly. The driver's side of the heated screen still works as well but the passenger side never seemed to.

The interior is in pretty good condition, although the front seats do have a couple of stains on them.

A couple of the panels have little specks of paint missing; this is due to me being an idiot and using a pressure washer! These cars however, are generally not mint condition and are daily hacks to fulfil a role.

Let me know if you need anything. All prices will be reasonable, I just want to sell as much off of it as I can. I also have a complete extra set of wheels fitted with winter tyres. The two from the rear are still good but the front two tyres are shot after driving too long without getting tracking sorted.

You can see in this pic there are some scrapes on the front bumper. I did this reversing out of a tight car parking space on a low down wall I couldn't see. I was going to touch it up but obviously no point now!

The area just above the thermostat housing was cleaned up when I replaced the rocker cover gasket and you can see no more oil!

The car is located in Sandy, Bedfordshire. I can maybe deliver some parts locally, subject to what they are, timings etc. for some petrol money. I can also take some parts to Stevenage (where I work) and I can possibly bring some smaller items down to Kent next time I am down there (although right now I have no idea when that will be).

Because I need a price, I'll say £400 for the car complete.

Let me know if there are any questions. I will take PayPal, or cash on collection/delivery. I have been on here for a number of years now, and have sold quite a few bits n bobs.

What kind of time frame do you need them? Never used an angle grinder before, but how hard can it be? However, I don't want to go cutting the body up just yet, before the rest of the car has been stripped! The steering wheel is ok, but far from perfect. I don't have the CD player, sold it at a boot fair.

Depending on demand for bits, on the weekend of 12 Nov, I will probably strip it of as much as I can. If you can wait until then / the weekend after, I can have a look for you?

I have to be honest, that'd be the better option! Knowing me I'll probably cut straight through the middle of what you need.

However, when the shell is ready to go for scrap I'll ping you a message in case you do need anything.

Right today is the last day I'm taking anything off this. Whatever's off will go on eBay 99p no reserve. If there's anything anyone needs let me know.

I don't have an engine crane so I'm going to offer that cheap to anyone who wants to pull it themselves. The car will be gone next weekend at the latest (but during the week if no one wants the engine).

All the bits I have stopped will now be going on eBay, first few up already. You can find all of them at the link below if there is anything you need. Everything will be 99p no reserve on a 1 week auction. I know there has been no interest so far, but one final push! Get the bits you need to sort out the little niggles on your car!
