thanks woody, thats what I was wanting to know. My dad would be able to weld them on and smooth them out because he's been restoring classic cars for around 20 years and he's helping me out on the mini which he will be respraying as well.This is Icemans mini just after the plates have been seam welded in , you need a thin skim of filler to bring the profile back and fill in any imperfections in the surface before spraying . the wires have differant conecters on , the later cars have block conecters , these will need sniping off and "bullet" conecters crimping on .
