So after letting the owner disconnect most things today was engine out day.

First comment. Why don't people put some anti sieze paste or some such on the center front stud?

You know the one that us a closer fit than all the rest. Had to remove all the studs and flatten the engine number scrivits so as to turn the head to unscrew the bolt after mashing the threads with two nuts.

This was the start of the good news.

As I was undoing the block to box bolts each one cam out with a blob of rtv on the end.

You know the studs over the diff there should be two. One just failed as soon as it was touched.

Oh the green paint it covered everything.


Anyway lots of words. There will be none in the next few posts as I want to show you the glory with no distractions.

Oh it leaked.
