DOT's own figures are that the average classic car does 1100 miles per year so I cant seen there being a need to restrict mileage - and if there is no MOT to record mileage how will they police it?

Don't know where they get these average figures from, up until recently i was doing 1300 miles a month in my classic mini.

It's an average.. I only do about 300-500 miles a year many more do a lot less

Interestingly when I was checking a 1973 car today it came up as MOT exempt on the DVLA system, a sign of things to come ?
