Waxoyl is a bit old. It was the best in its day, and I have used umpteen gallons of the stuff, but I would use a more modern product now. Time moves on, and in 50 years no-one will be using S50 either. We can only use what is best at the time.

I would suggest that careful preparation and application of your chosen product may make more difference than the differences between brands. Topping it up before the worst of winter each year is also likely to be worthwhile.

So we should all use Noxudol 700... Never seen it in the shops!

Available on evil bay and cheap too! Much cheaper then all the others. Presumably because no one has heard of it lol
