Last years was the end of June. I'd advise on planning to get your application in a month or two before that though.

Don't let anything put you off listing yourself - this list isn't official, nor is it binding. Last year there were around 55-60 people on the list, only 21 or something actually made the trip.

The organisers will notify people well in advance when it's crunch time, and they want some financial commitment!
