Some photos I took some years back of the Jack Knight stand at a Mini show showing their 16V head, 5-Speed s/c syncro & new 6-Speed dog box.

Photo I took of the Jack Knight 16V Mini at Brands Hatch in the early 1990's. It went up against the 16V KAD Mini in 1994 for the 'Fastest Mini in the World Race". If I remember right it was a very close race between Peter Baldwin (JK) v Bill Sollis (KAD) and the KAD Mini won.

Are Jack Knight still going as a company? I'm surprised there isn't a lot of 5/6 speed boxes out there nowadays!

Jack Knight Developments Ltd was dissolved as a company in March 2007.

A new company formed using the JK name but appeared to let several buyers down on delivering parts.....

I was always surprised that no one purchased the designs and carried on making the heads.
