Hi All,

I try to find out which calipers fit on the Z-cars trailer-arms (see attachment).

Up to now I didn't succeed to get the right answer.

So I give it a try again.

I really would appreciate to hear from you which one will fit.

Regards Wim.

On my Volvo kit it's Renault Clio RS1 1.8 RSI or Clio 1 2.0 Williams.
But my rear trailing arms are not as yours (not tubular)

I think the ones fitted to mine were Ford Sierra.

If calliper is Sierra does that mean hub and rotors are sierra also?

Need some cv joints/stub axles for mine (box type arms) would they be Mondeo? I know there are different sizes for diesel and petrol models will have to measure the splines on my drive flanges?

My hubs that I bought were off the front of a mondeo mk1. The number is 19090 and they're febi bilstien ones. I went to a local scrappy to get some temporary cv joints for mine to hold it together and they were also off a mk1 mondeo. Pretty sure it was a 2.0 diesel but I think they're all the same anyway. Hope this helps

Thanks for that Stephen as it happens I have a old Mondeo as my daily driver so I could measure the splines on it and check against the drive flanges on the mini. Was going to get some from a scrappy myself so I could get some wheels on and be able to move the car around more easily. Have read that there pretty awkward to to split from the drive shaft though?

This is what is on mine hope it helps
Rear Brakes Wilwood four-pot calipers 265mm vented and drilled rear discs. Sierra rear calipers for the hand brake ( John the builder of my car does not list what year it came from)

Took the wheel off and have taken some pictures.
rubbed off the paint in the caliper to bring up the number stamped on it (67321 051/6)

Wim,the calipers on my mini are different from the ones on dondo,s. So they could be the Renault items mentioned earlier sorry I can't be more helpful

Dondo has a larger braking setup than the 'standard zcars' as these never had vented discs unless the kit has been changed by the owner to suit taste. I also have a rear vented disc on mine to match the front but don't use two calipers. Just one that does brakes and handbrake as a 4 pot on the rear is way too much unless a pressure/flow control has been used to differentiate it from the front.

Just been on to My mate at the motor factors apparently there are two sizes for mk1 mondeo cv joints one for petrol engines and one for diesel. Anybody know which one I need? not sure if the splines are different or the actual bearings that take the drive shaft, don't want to get the wrong one and not be able to fit the drive shafts when I eventually get them

Thanks john
