Ok guys, I took the risk on the CD20 gearbox of ebay. My research showed either 3.65 or 3.7 FD



But after all that and £195 later, it's got a bloody 3.895. 74/19.
Now I'm confused. It's got the same internals as the cga3de gear ie 3.333 1st & 0.733 5th.

CD17 gearboxes have 3.79 FD and 0.733 5th gear, also E15 engined cars have same ratios. CD20 uses 3.89 because CD20 cars had bigger wheels. I might be able to source some used oem 3.55 FD kits for the RS5F30A gearbox, but cant say for sure until next month or so.
