I love how the switches look, such a neat job. Now all it needs is the heater deleting but I guess in England that isn't an option...

Hi CharlieNZ, we did talk about ditching the heater as well but decided it was better to be able to see out of the windscreen on a frosty or damp day both of which are quite frequent in the UK

by the way Jack is looking to travel to NZ at some point this year, what's the must do thing over there?

cheers Darren

If my 1275GT was a bit more sorted, I'd suggest the best thing would be a week in it thrashing round the wiggly roads of the North Island ;) As it stands, more likely you would get a week standing at the side of the road waiting for the AA.

Depends how long you're here for. If you haven't got too long, hit the South Island, do the Queenstown thing, see the big scenery etc. Although Christchurch is all potholes and building sites, it's really interesting to see what's happening there post-earthquake and I love spending time there. If you've got longer, do a bit of a North island tour as well, there's plenty to do on the tourist trail. I'm ex-UK, been living in Auckland for over 15 years, so if you are interested, can certainly give you a few more ideas...

That's the joy of a classic car - it's the journey not the destination, as you can't always guarantee getting to the destination  :-)

Must be so satisfying to put the doors on and see those perfect panel gaps looking so good.

It's a bit nerve racking, especially as i put them on by myself  >_<

Not a single scratch or mark though  :gimme:

Beautiful car.

It's heart warming to see such care that has been taken.

It would be good if other car repairers showed a similar standard.
