I was going to recommend some carbon floor panels for the front foot wells.
Curley sell them and i think so do minisport. Might be worthwhile having them especially during spirited driving

I'd be scared to drive this on the road let alone the track incase it got damaged. Great work and great progress.
um - the mini is much better than we could have hoped for, Ben and Colin are doing a great job
Apparently this isn't a concours car according to Ben - it looks pretty bloody good to me

It needs to be used and enjoyed.
If it get's damaged or scratched, then it can be sorted out easily enough
I really hope that Darren and Jack do enjoy the car when finished.
Cheers

"Then out with the stonechip, i started by laying down a heavy coat over all seams"
Ben, how did you apply the stonechip to the seams?
What product did you use?

We just use a very cheap, very basic shultz gun
You simply don't need an expensive one, it's what you do with it that counts.
And this is the stonechip
It has excellent build qualities, goes on very well with a nice even wet finish and is just the best one we have used and we have tried them all.
Cheers
