No real excuse for slow postage anymore i ordered some parts from minimine via ebay at lunchtime and they dropped through the letterbox at 9 AM the next day! Free postage too,it wasnt as if i even needed them urgently either but nice to know.

I've actually found it easier and quicker to shop via eBay with some companies rather than using there website

I've had problems with their dispatch time too, I find it's very hit and miss with how fast they get things out the door.

I ordered with just the standard delivery option. 4 small bolts with little weight you would £3.50 would be plenty as that would be enough for recorded next day quite easily.
I tend too be its the little parts are slow. Bigger packages from both minispares and mini sport turn up pretty quickly.
Almost feels like a small order isn't so important to them!

Royal mail next day is about 6.40 start price.

Signed for 1st class isnt guaranteed to be nexy day. Though for letters they say 93 percent is delivered next day. Packages may be different as they will be handled differently due to size i expect.

Next day courier would be approx 5 pounds.

So at 3.50 postage it looks like you got the service i would expect for the price paid.

I always pay express and 99% of time i get it next day.

Never had any problems but I have always paid express delivery. That said their postage costs aren't the most wallet friendly

Just a shame just about everything made of rubber that they sell Will fall apart and disintegrate within months.

But then I've given up using them, as 3rd set of knuckle joints in 5 years due to disintegrating rubbers, same issue with cv and steering rack gaiters. I've had rear drum screws that were metric not imperial. Wheel bearings that simply didn't fit. Poorly finished balljoints and even a pair of halogen headlamps where the bowls started to rust within a year.

It's now go to the point that I refuse to use any of the main mini suppliers and go elsewhere (independent motor factors) unless I absolutely have to.

Mini mine, Wood & Picket (both via Ebay) & Bull Motif all 3 always next working day delivery for me. Have also collected parts from Bull Motif, very knowledgeable & helpful.

Also you must remember that post & packing charge is what it says, not just the cost of postage, both the cost of labour to pick & pack, plus cost of the packaging.

I agree, been to Bullmotifminispares this week. Normally do online as over £50 net it's free postage, normally next day and they are very competitive. Also good are Minimine and W&P.
