Whilst minispares sell lots of parts does anyone else get frustrated by the slow postage?
I ordered 4 flange bolts on Monday night, £3.50 postage should mean they'll be with me quickly.
But there still not here.
No mini world live for me tmrw.
Thanks minispares!

It's been hit and miss for me, sometimes they dispatch very quick and parts are with me asap.. other times it has taken several days for them to ship and therefore taking a while to arrive!

I have had prompt service using mini spares but have experienced long delays from other suppliers where online it states parts are in stock yet when I phone to check on the delay they admit to waiting for parts to come in. Have you checked with mini spares?

I've always found if i haven't had them by 3 days, If i give them a call they always let me know if there's been an issue. But then again I do that with anything i've bought and is being delivered.

I don't buy anything from MiniSpares online anymore and it's solely down to the postage. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow but each time, I would consider it expensive. The only downside to this is my nearest shop is MiniSpares North, and I don't like going in there because some of the staff are frigging rude!

I think Minispares are a victim of their own success; they don’t always seem to be able to cope with the volume of orders they generate. I use them and find the postage problems more often than not relate to the poor postal service we have, I can tell this by looking at the date of the postmark. If I haven’t received my order within 3 days I ring to find out why. I do know if Potters Bar are busy they rely on North to take up the slack and North always appear to be running with minimum staff. Having said the above, I still find them a whole lot better than Mini Sport.

Northern power I think your spot on.
I have all the emails they send out confirming order, delivery and payment but they rarely seem to match where the actual order is.
Last time I ordered something it took ages so I rang and they cancelled the order as they hadn't taken payment yet then I drove to potters bar to pick one up then the next day they took the money for the original one and posted out even though I'd cancelled it.
It's just frustrating, it's quicker off eBay a lot of the times and the postage costs are lower on small items.

My last order from them was only for a few small lock tabs while working at the clutch / flywheel. Ordered Friday, delivered Saturday morning and across the Irish sea to Northern Ireland as well! Not bad.

I call in to North quite a lot and notice the problems they have. They are very busy at times and when they are running flat out they don’t have time for pleasantries and this does come across as being rude. When they do have the time I find them very good, and very helpful and interested to talk to you and share information. The problem is this doesn’t happen very often.

I'd love it for that to be the case, but I'm usually the only person in there! Haha

I'm sorry to hear that you have missed a show due to parts not turning up, that's really annoying! to be honest I've never had a problem with Minispares delivery times, or Mini Sport for that matter. I usually pay the little extra for express delivery and parts always arrive the next day if I order before 12pm. I've never had to wait more than two days using the standard postage option. Mini Sport come in for a lot of stick, but I've found them helpful on the phone (as are Minispares) and the radiator that I ordered at 1.30pm on Thursday was in my hands by 11am the following morning. Can't really beat that and their expidited UPS delivery was cheaper than I expected.

I find MiniSpares always seem to have slowish postage

I was going to order an oil and filter and a few other small parts and they wanted £9 postage needless to say I didn't bother
