Hello, I am looking to see if anyone knows if there are any differences in 12G1316 casting marks and what they might physically mean for the head's features.
One head I have is marked 12G1316 with a single "3" below it. The other is marked "MOWOG" above the 12G1316 and an upside down "22" below it. Both have smog ports.
Any differences between the two?

Apart from those numbers, you'll may only see 'cosmetic' differences between them.

They are very similar to the 12G940 casting of the day, apart from the air injection ports in the front of the head and added metal here, there is a little more around the exhaust valve guide bosses as well, but not a great deal more.
