Mini Mag is the better of the two for me, Keith Calver's stuff is always interesting but to be honest I only ever buy it now if theres a specific article I particularly want to read at my leisure - usually I just skim read it in the newsagents and put it back on the shelf!

The best car mag for me since the bitterly missed CCC (Cars & Car Conversions) disappeared is Practical Classics which for me is better written, more interesting and much better valve.

the trouble with the dedicated Mini publications is theres only so many times you can read about concours Cooper S rebuilds or 1380 'fast Road' monsters before it gets boring.

Love the advise guys, thanks for taking the time  ;D

I am going to go with mini mag as this seems the popular choice however the digital app looks a good shout too, so may have a look later and decide.

I have never bought a magazine before to help with my rebuild but the more i try to do recently the more i see how little i know !

The experts on here must be sick of my novice questions by now so thought i might do some homework . I`m really after the techy stuff and the how to guides to be honest, seeing other peoples cars all looking nice whilst mine sits in pieces just pi**** me off lol.  =]

I have always bought both from when they started (yes I am that old) and will continue to do so, however given that they are now published by the the same company, it can only a matter of time before they are amalgamated into " Mini World Mag" and we can save a few quid each month.

Mini Mag has got better and better over the last few years, prefer it to MiniWorld though i subscribe to both.

Miniworld under Monty was a good mag though.

I have practical classics, bit of variety but the tech stuff is often relevant to minis too, most engine stuff they do is A series or B series based.

+1 for both Mini Mag & Practical Classics. PC shows there is life after Mini's and a good crossword.

No, that's not the case! The website is offline while we create a new one, as the old one was getting long in the tooth! It should be back online shortly - blame me for being busy doing the printed mag, as well as covering all the recent shows!   :shy: In the meantime, please see our Facebook page of visit here for back issues/subs http://shop.kelsey.c...ubscription/MMG

Mini Mag
Have had cars featured/front page in both...Miniworld misquoted and got a lot of facts wrong.
I find both dumb down too much nowadays and have very little fresh content.
