The Innocenti has a slightly different rod Change. It to has a boot gaiter. I am going to try MG TF gear linkage gaiters, similar size. The Innocenti has internal rod bushes but these are made from plastic. IMG_2281.JPG IMG_2282.PNG

Did the MG gaiters work? they look like a great solution to the problem.

No they where just a bit tight.  They fitted but just didn;t really work.  Ended up putting a rubber dust cap off a steering track rod end

Could you tell me which car steering rack this rubber dust cap came from? Looks like a neat solution.

Few years down the road now, rod and bushes are perfect, and have enough EN16T left to make a second one, plus a spare pair of new bushes.

 

Will give to any fellow-sufferer for free, just pay the price of the postage, let's say £15 - within Europe - in view of the odd dimensions.
