Just waiting for my radiator & catch tank to be made from Concept Racing, and Matty at Fusion for the Throttle bodies manifold, and modified rocker cover.

Next job is brakes, wiring, interior.

That that looks really nice , it's given me some inspiration to get my but in gear and get on with my clubman estate , I picked up my Allspeed frame up last month but I'm battling surface rust in the engine bay atm .

Wow that is a very clean shell!! Cant wait to start bolting stuff onto mine, but a long way off that yet. Where did you get the exhaust manifold? Or did you make it yourself?

The exhaust is one of the ones I make (fusion fabrications) ive made a few variations of these now. If your on facebook, I've just finished one today and posted pics up.

Hydro clutch looks great, how does that compare to the cable operation? I reckon the bracket needs a trim tho :)

Clutch seems to work perfectly. That said, I've not had it running, but the bitting point is in the middle of the pedal travel. I'll cut the bracket, once I'm happy it's 100%

Not usually a big fan of engine swaps, but this is just so tidy! Looks super clean and well thought out.

Thanks mate. I think my love affair for the a series is now over. I've really enjoyed doing something a little different. Everybody as mocked me, with micra engine?, all my mates have been taking the piss, but now they are actually changing their tune. I can't wait to get the 125bhp tune engine in though.

That said about the a series, I'm just in the process off building my 150bhp N/A 1460 for my track toy.

Happy so far. Just got a few niggles to sort out.

Standard water temp isn't working. Also my alternator isn't working.



I've only plugged in Ign & light. It's starts charging then stops, but no warning light. Unplug battery and it's fine for a few minutes then nothing. I guess it needs Sense or Ecu control?
