Thinking of going for magnolia dial faces but am having trouble indentifying my dials.
Car is 1988 mini Mayfair (bit only just got it so no Ida I things have been altered). It has three clocks. 90 mph speedo, centre temp and fuel. Rev counter on right. All work great. There is no marking on the faces to say smiths or Nippon. Any ideas?

A picture would be a great help!
These are Nippons with 90mph speedo:
These are Smiths (though this is a 120mph version, I have the same setup with a 90mph):

Hi guys
Thanks for the reply will take a pic this evening. They are 90mph speedo but look like the second set.
I am beginning to suspect they are a bit of both if that's possible. The centre dial (fuel and temp) does not have smiths written on it but the outer dials do have the black edge rings. Any idea if that is possible? Can you fit the rings from the smiths clocks to the nippon gauges/remove the rings from smiths gauges?
I must say I think the Nippon's would be easier to read. As I said I will take pics and post this evening. Need to do something to improve the contrast or, plan b, just ignore the gauges altogether. My first mini just had the big centre speedo (which bounced around all over the show and was just a rough guide) and neither the fuel or temp guages worked.

They are later Smiths gauges, genuine for the car according to this advert:
http://www.newoldcar...limited-edition
Model nubers are BAU5402 (speedo) BAU5404 (rev) BAU5405 (fuel) & BAU5406 (temp)

Unfortunately can't see any magnolia face kits for those gauges. Might be worth contacting Minispares, Somerford etc. to see if they know of any suppliers.
