So I've bought the (probably well known) red one that's been floating around classifieds for the last few years...

However, I cant seem to find much information on them? I've looked through most of the threads on here, what I'm mainly looking is parts, what is mini? what is not? But any other general info would be cool.

I know this specific one has a "custom" rear beam setup, which I'll probably change back to a standard subframe (assuming that's what they were originally)

But yes, if anyone could just point me in the general direction of more information that would be great!

Dont think a subframe will fit.

Its custom rear beam with mini radius arms.

Mini engine and front subframe.
Mini van tank

Alot of the electrics will be mini based but as its a kit it could be wildy different.

Mines a a+ engine with a twin bolt subframe and mk2 wiring loom.

Rear lights are trimuph acclaim?
Windscreen im told is reliant robin?

They were made in wallsend newcastle upon tyne. 110 were made.

Mk1 had square headlights and opening glass hatch at rear.

Mk2 had quad headlights and a full hatch at rear.

Some rare hybrids have the mk2 front with the mk1 opening glass rear (like mine).

The moulds went on to become the basis of the fra fibreglass mini shells.

I guess I need to wait really until mine gets delivered, but just trying to plan ahead as much as possible!

Correct, I found some old documentation that had a few points but didn't cover everything.

Mini engine and front subframe.

I'm hoping they're dry and not hydro?

Electrics are my bread and butter, so I'll cope with anything in that department.

Windscreen im told is reliant robin?

Useful to know, however I bet they aren't readily available! :(

I just half expected Google to turn more information than what it has... But it's just showing up all the old classifieds!

My front subframe is dry (cones) but i guess it depends on the car the original components came from.
