Hello TMFers

I seek the great wisdom and knowledge of the TMF forum

my windscreen wiper blade springs have rusted through - they are about 7.5cms long end to end the springy part is about 4cms long

can I find them or something like them anywhere - no I cannot

I hate to buy a whole wiper arm - anybody got a source or a good home fix for this

thanks for your time :)

Which type of arm is it?  I'm sure you can find a suitable spring that would fit. Loads at Mini Spares:https://www.minispar...wiper arm .aspx

It looks like the regular wiper arm, but I don't want to buy a whole arm and just toss the old one when all I need is a spring

it came off a project car I am rebuilding - so the car has been sitting for about 10 years, the springs just crumbled up when I took the wipers off to check them

length and diameter need to be fairly similar, my local diy store didn't have any close matches

still looking

thanks for reading anyways

looks like this if this helps - cheers
