I think it was a punto (A relatively small car anyway), Done up mini style, it had mini mirrors, badges colour scheme and on the back it had cooper ? it was well funny.

that was pretty random of you bobby! i am too fond of the gulf colours that mini above suit the colour, especially with the offset stripe. superb
so should the stripe be offset then? i'd assumed it should be dead centre??

Anyway....I havnt heard of any laws making gulf colours illegal. juat look at how many replica GT40s there are out there with those colours. But as neil_g said they had them in the first place.Tell you what I saw the other day. It was weird.

Geee thanks very much. I'm building another mini at the moment that's going to be tweed grey with an aurum white roof. The tank is going to be white too and the strap the same colour as the bodywork. Easy idea, easy to do and looks the nuts!!andysmini1 - you rmini looks ace, and the fuel tank really sets it off.
how can a color be illegal? is it even possible to 'outlaw' a color?
