Hi, I've searched the forum and can't seem to find an answer. I need the distance from the ground to the sill trim, front and rear for a 1990 mini with 13" wheels so I can set my hilos to standard height before adjusting the wheel alignment.

Thanks in advance.

well, it really depends on the tires you are running and their overall diameter. That will make a big difference to the measurement of the sills to the floor.

Also, are you going for stock height? Stock MPI with 13" height?

Thanks for the reply. It's running 175/50/13 tyres, so I guess mpi sportspack would be the best comparison.

You probably won't find stock figures. I'd personally just play with it until it looks right front and back and is equal either side.

Ok, thanks, it does look about right at the moment, everything new, bushes, cones etc, but it's all over the road with tramlining to the point I'd call it dangerous on some roads. Will try wheel alignment and see how it goes.

If that doesn't work I may swap to 12" with a slightly less deep dish.

With alleycat reproduction wheels, don't know the offset but it's deep if that's the right terminology.

Chris.

to be honest you are going about it wrong. Set the height to what you feel is right then set the wheel alignment.

But here is some info for you.

10s I think.

Thanks, appreciate that but wanted to get some kind of rough guide to what is normal ride height so I can work from that. Seems to me, even a slight difference in front ride height will make a big difference in bump steer and camber etc..

64mm between wheel and arch on the front, 84 mm on the rear. But that might be different on sportspack if the arches are Cut?
