An old VW Polo OpenAir (or Ford KA, Renault Twingo mm) have sunroofs in right size.

I agree totally, I live in France where the summer days are boiling, and seeing as the car will only be going out when it's dry and sunny, I would like to release all that heat build up when I'm in it.

so you'll release the heat by removing the roof and then sit in the open sunshine and bake.
