I was thinking of getting them, does it make that much difference? I was put off because someone told me that the steering bracket drop makes it harder to get in/out.

i'd highly recommend both seat adjusters and drop bracket, i find you feel less like you've been beaten up on long journeys, next thing to get would be some decent seats, i got some from a swift gti and there mega cumfy.

I've got some old Mongoose mini bucket seats (like the ones in the Turbo Clubby in the July issue of Minimag) to go in mine. They are sooooooooo comfy, shame that I'm gonna have to mess about gaetting the subframes straight as they are out of my brother's mini he wroote off about 10 years ago. It was always "Oh I'll sort those seats out" and it never got done.

They sound like a good way of improving the driving position, but anybody know if it would work in a pickup?
I wont be able to fit the seat adjusters due to the bulkhead, so would it be worth fitting a drop bracket or would the driving position be all messed up?

Niel_g, I couldn't agree more about Cobra seats. Awful bloody things. Badly made, badly engineered and they collapse in no time. And they made a complete hash of re-covering my rear bench(for a couple of hundred quid-you can't expect them to that bad a job for free!).

The seats didn't even fit their own make subframes. And the fabric fades while-you-wait.

Sorry, bit of a rant.
