Very neat, looks better than my arrangement of rubber grommets and o rings! I went simple for the routing of the throttle cable, not sure if it will be a success or not, it certainly functions but it could wear out the cable prematurely, time will tell - if I ever get this thing on the road of course :-)

I've since cut away the front panel for the filter to fit, it is a little tight and an adjustable engine steady certainly helps.

My 90degree bracket to re-position the original throttle cable mount, I may shorten this to bring it further up.....

I also replaced the rubber parts with new, I couldn't find a new breather pipe though and the two I had were both perished, I've simply blocked off the breather entries on the TB's with silicone blanks, but is this a problem and should they actually all be connected up as yours are is the question on my mind now!

Interesting! I was going to go down the grommet route, but could really figure out if it would work. I think it looks great.

Regarding the breather pipe. I figured to hook them all up, nitre really sure what difference it makes if they are linked together or if they are blocked.

Thanks, I'm happy enough with how it's turned out, yours just looks a bit less DIY :-)

If I find simply blocking the breather inlets is a bad move it's a simple enough job to replicate your solution...

ROLLING ROAD session....

120 bhp and 134 Nm

Always a really fun experience. the tuner played around with etc cam lift/timing for about and hour, turns out the best result cam from 1.1mm lift plus approx 3 degrees on the inlet and 1.1mm lift ion the exhaust.

 Feels good!

After the big power runs, the tuner actually spent most of the time mapping the car for "normal driving".

sounds like a good tuner, a lot just want to get away woth the least work, often hard to get them to look at waggling cam timing

numbers are right where i'd expect for yur spec

Thanks for sharing the trials and tribulations. I had written this conversion off but now it's another choice in search of extra power in my own car next winter.
Thanks again

Hej Sorin,

I used Svalle at http://tsmotor.com in Åstorp

I have also Marco at BSR Malmö in the past, I understand he has moved to Kävlinge.

Cheers!

Decided to switch over to k1200 throttle bodies. I want really happy with the throttle quadrant solution, as I really had to adjust the "adjustment" screws on the TBS quite a lot.

Seems direct fit to the k1100 head when using the k1200 inlets

Yep, the head castings are essentially the same apart from a couple of small differences, the main ones being the oil way meing moved and the addition of 2 bolts for the chain cover.
