Good stuff,

It's good to have it a bit lean for running in, well not rich anyway... So that's probably why the map is biased that way.

I'd was going to say I'd expect a bit more power than that, but the I saw its at the wheels, so about where I'd expect it!

I found it worthwhile moving the car cam timing from SC's recommendation, but that was on an 8v.

The cam timing was pretty good, I cant remember exactly the figures, but the build guide stated 1.6mm of lift, but after speaking to SC they recommended that 1mm of lift was better.

Oh and regarding the losses, some rollers can do a back measurement to get a figure from them.

20% is a bit simplistic, but it's about what I'd expect in this instance, so your making high 120s

I think 20 hp rather than 20 % is generally more realistic,

Yip in this instance 20% and 20hp are almost the same.

I am thinking of putting some holes / ovals in the front of the bonnet. Both for airflow into the ram pies but also aesthetics.

I guess the engine bay will get pretty dirty?

I wonder if there is a way I could have a removable panel for wet days?

Why not a deflector scoop coming up from the top half of the grill, easy to make with a sheet of aluminum?

It'll be a rough percentage as its linear to the drag co-efficiency of the running gear throughout the rev range. 20% for a mini is high! Considering on most 4wd systems its usually between 18-22%.

Just read all the way through. Couldn't put this down!
Glad everything has turned out ok after your back and forth with the wiring issues.
Really inspiring and a great amount of information as this exactly what I'd like to do in the near future.
Top thread!

Hi Craig, been looking through your thread again, it been great for helping me out on some of the problems that I've come across. I'm at the stage of fitting the ignition coil pack but SC haven't marked the firing order on the coil pack, I noticed that you did a drawing, but was that OK, and where the ignition leads put on the normal A-series firing order sequence. Here's a cheeky wee upside down picture of my engine, bloody I-pad!!
