Hi there.
My Minus is on Its 17th year on the road since I did a major rebuild, tho' Its had constant work within this time.
As far as F/G is concerned one of the things you should be aware of is, COMPRESSION, Through bolts will compress the Fi-glass on mounting point,So you need to be aware of this and every now and then go round every nut/bolt and tighten them.Just enough. (Always use nylock nuts for everything) Or you start to get squeaks, especially in the dry.A sore point on the Minus is door hinges,If you're using figlass doors and sliding windows, which are light then it's less of a problem, But I opted for Steel door ,Which gives normal car running,Weatherproofing, locking and usage, then the doors can sag as the Glass ages. Subframes, Shock mounts,Steering rack ETC.All should be checked often .Another thing which you need to note is the return EARTH Wires on all Electrical curcuits. These needs to be the same rating as the power into whatever is being powered. It makes for a lot of extra wires. Don't be disheartened once done you'll have a unique Toy, Which will give a lot of satisfaction and endless talking points.
I've hopefully added some photos taken over the years,I'm now on yet another spruce up, I don't know how much will be done for The I.M.M but I'm going anyway,
