If your reverse lights aren't wired up I would stick to the mk2/3, but if they're wired up i would leave the mk4+. I prefer the mk2/3 though. look smaller and less busy. But its all personal preference

I have made a decision - went with the original lamps in the end, something just didn't sit right with me on the smaller lamps.
