Today when i was giving the thing relentlous abuse.........................i blew it up!
head gasket has gone, possibly bent a pushrod also, got to double check it!
eventful day!
should be up and running again tomorrow!

I killed mine too at Avon, we should get a sticker. i went to shakespere and all i got was a blown head gasket. managed to change mine on the sunday, but she wasn't playing after, still shoddy, as you will have seen if you saw a blue and silver clubby go down the track.....you couldn't have missed it, she took half an hour.

Got the AA man out, who was baffled as we were, his best idea was for a bible and holy water, to exorsise the demons

that was me!
i think it was on its way out at avon, and yesterday it let go in a big way and blew about an inch of the gasket out of inbetween 3 and 4.
done the job well! lol.
it will be up and running again tonight
its also smokey because there is a bit of bore wear.

its now up and running again, but the turbo is over boosting a lot.
i think i need a new actuator.
it'll all be done soon enough

at the moment its no fun at all, because i cant boot it because i gotta try keep it off boost because of risk of nailing headgasket.
but once its all set up and done it'll be worth all the hard work!
