So with a heavy heart, the time has come to put my car up for sale. It started out as a 1990 Rover Mini Studio 2, but has been extensively modified over many years. I’ll attempt to list the modifications all here, but I’m sure I’ll miss something, so don’t hesitate to ask.

Engine
Rover 1.4 litre 16 valve K series engine, these engines are rated for 103bhp as standard, this one has no CAT and a high flow air filter so probably between 100-110bhp.
Engine management is from Rover 25, with fully functioning immobiliser.
Exhaust manifold modified to sit closer to the block, then ported and smoothed.
Alternator on a custom mount, with a smaller belt.
Mini MPi fuel tank with aftermarket Sytec fuel pump.
Standard mini radiator, forward facing. Fan isn’t currently wired in, but I drove it all through the summer and the temperature never went above 95! The relay is already fitted, just requires finding the right pinout on the ECU.

Gearbox:
PG1 with diesel gearset - 70mph at 3000rpm.
Type B limited slip diff.
Recent new clutch.

Suspension:
Standard mini rubber cones, in good condition.
Hex adjustable hilos, the original type.
KYB gas-a-just shock absorbers.
KAD adjustable rear camber/toe brackets.
Heavy duty adjustable bottom arms with rose joints.
Heavy duty adjustable (on car) tie bars with rose joints.

Brakes:
Metro turbo 4 pot calipers.
Vented discs.
Braided flexi brake lines.
New solid lines.
New master cylinder.
Adjustable bias valve to rear brakes, so no dodgy proportioning valve.

Subframes:
Recent rear subframe, e coat removed and given a coat of silver hammerite.
Mini based front subframe, extensively modified and strengthened to take the K series engine and gearbox. Pictures of this can be seen in my build thread.

Interior:
Rover Mini Equinox seats and door cards, in good condition.
New carpets.
Very basic dashboard, clocks are currently just cable tied in place. This doesn’t affect the functioning of them, but it’s a bit basic. Fuel gauge isn’t wired up either, and the speedo over reads (reads around 90mph when doing 70).
Kenwood CD player with Aux-in, with a pair of 6x9s in the parcel shelf.

Exterior:
Matte black paint. Bodywork is straight but it’s not a show winner!
Fibreglass sports pack replica arches.
7x13 superlight wheels with Nankang tyres, front pair are almost new.
Round nose front end, completely unbolts to allow access to the engine.

Other points:
Heater isn’t currently fitted, but will be included in sale.
Washer bottle motor not working.
One of the brake pipes has been grazed, but isn’t leaking.
The main circular hole in the bulkhead currently just has aluminium tape over it, needs a plate making.

This is priced to sell at £3500, please remember it’s a running car with an MOT, not a bag of bits. I’m not going to be giving this car away, if it doesn’t fetch a reasonable price I’ll just keep it.
