Hi, just wondered, with an MOT retest, is it 10 days or 10 working days? Or does it all depend on the garage?

Thanks!

The 10 day limit is a limit that test stations are obliged to retest a failed car for free if it remains with them for repair (or it it taken away for repair a partial fee may be applied). There is in fact nothing to stop a full retest being carried out dor free by the station outside of those timescales if they chose to do so.

Nope. You have until Friday or Monday depending on the garage and what they class as the first working day. Saturday and Sunday are not working days.
