Good evening everyone, just a quick question! i have bought some new seals for the rear opening windows, and i cannot get them to fit! they seem to be too big for the opening. they def are the right seals, so are there any tips to get them in?

thanks

Fairly sure this will be that they aren't fully into the corners.

Use a rubber mallet to make sure they are fully seated

Mine have always had a join in them, I think I put it at the top last time. Other than that just make sure they are going right into the corners, even the factory ones were often seen dangling because they were too short!

I find the round wooden handle on my rubber mallet is good for the tight ones.

Make sure the join is at the bottom, use a mallet or your hand lol

I actually use door seals for opening rear windows

hello all. after much faff, i have now put my headlining in and started putting all the seals and windows in. i am having a lot of trouble putting the rear windows in. i know the clips go round the seal and then screw in. but they are not fitting!

any hints?

Lube the front edge of the seal.
