That's looks more suitable.
There is scope to modify the kit you have but it would just be uneconomical for me to do it.

You are on the slippery road now.
Ben only thing to note when you come to fitting it the state housing bolt/stud hole closest to the stabiliser is a gnats smaller diameter than the other two.this is to give better location and less movement.
I had to run a drill down mine as it would not fit over a new stud. I was not running the full MPI set up with the sandwich plate etc.
Otherwise simple to fit. Better if the screen is out as it is a one person job. Also is if you use bolts rather than the Allen bolts supplied.
Cheers for that.
The screen is already in but i have help if needed.
I think ill leave the engine bay as is for now until i get it otherwise if i finish up there, access will be terrible for fitting.

Thanks for popping down Simon.
Sorry there wasn't time to chat, I was home alone and that lady was waiting to have her headlights looked at. They wouldn't turn off....

I have finished shoehorning everything back into the engine bay today.
I'm glad i filled and bled the clutch before putting this lot in
Somewhere under that lot are a couple of new brake pipes that i made up and fitted.
One from the clutch master to slave flexi and the other is the two piece section from the spliter on the front subframe up to the brake limiter on the bulkhead.
And of course, the DSN steady bar was dropped in on Friday so that is now fitted
So as far as completion goes, there isn't much left.
Fill and bleed cooling system
Fill and bleed braking system
Fit grille
Fit spotlights
Secure pot joint gaitors
P clip battery live cable to subframe
Front suspension geometry set up
Flat, polish and clean
Pin stripes and bonnet stripes
MOT
I think that's it
It will be running tomorrow so i can check everything over.
Cheers

Is that gasket on the scuttle important?
Nope, surplus to requirements

Bit of a delay with this one i'm afraid.
had a bit of trouble getting the engine to start.
I was getting no spark but was getting fuel.
It took a good long while of trouble shooting and bench testing various things, checking, double checking and triple checking all wiring and earths. I even tried a new coil pack as the test results on the one fitted seemed low.
In the end found the problem to be caused by a single very slightly corroded pin on the ECU which wasn't making contact.
All cleaned up and back together again and it started immediately.
Steve is going to MOT it on Friday morning providing i manage to get the last few bits finished in time.
Cheers
