Haven't updated for a while, so after finding the turbo was shagged I looked at buying a genuine gt2560r but couldn't justify spending around £600 on a turbo for a couple hundred quid engine so ordered a Chinese gt2871 head gasket arrived so got the head back on and new turbo so it runs again also set up the tracking and suspension it's pretty much ready to be mapped just couple little bits left todo

Bought some plastic rear windows from acw Motorsport was a bit nervous cutting the hole in the Windows as they wasn't cheap! But don't think they turned out to bad got one side all done just need to do the other side waiting on some more ducting pipe as I didn't order enough

Few more bits done. ducting arrived for the other side so got that fitted and finished, throttle cable fitted, bolted the dashboard in, windscreen washer bottle and pipes fitted, tidied up the front wiring loom, boost gauge connected.

Fitted bigger injectors, it's now ready for the dyno

Made it to the dyno session but went down hill from there, lost all oil pressure and engine seized up. So after a full strip down the main reason for the loss of oil pressure was the oil pickup was blocked with what looked like broken down sealant ect. Also I had to pretty much replace all the engine parts I bought new Pistons and liners, had the crank reground, the cams had a fair amount of scoring to them that also damaged the cylinder head so picked up a ported head that was ready to bolt on, it's all now rebuilt and back in the car.

No didn't even start driving on the rollers was sat there just on tickover trimming fuel out as it was over fueling due to the bigger injectors. It's all my fault I totally forgot to wire up the oil pressure warning light! how bloody stupid

Had the Dyno session yesterday made 172bhp at 6psi of boost with 5k rev limiter will run it in for 1000miles then take it back to get some proper power figures
