Bit more done, made up a flange for the coolant outlet on the top of the head and welded in some bits for the temp sensors, turbo oil feed and drain plumbed and the coolant pipes for the turbo, mounted the header tank, wired the alternator, just waiting on some heat reflective sleeve then the coolant system will be finished

Started it up again today 1st time since I've mad the exhaust it's rather loud going to have to try and squeeze a silencer in it.

Made a start on the body work today took hours to strip the roof back to bare metal!

Bit more prep work done both door shuts sanded and primed, prep on roof is 99% done, stripped down both doors and the boot lid, also welded up the holes in the bonnet for where the badge is meant to be. Fcuking hate prep work!

Started sanding the bonnet and found some surface rust under the paint so took it into work and sand blasted it.

Had an epic fail with a brand new cambelt tensioner that I bought about a year ago and got round to fitting it today and it snapped! Didn't even make it to full tension. Had to buy another one and now it's all back together.

Good job it snapped now rather than running

Gave the front end a coat of zinc primer and couple layers of stone chip paint, made a start on the turbo support bracket also tried sorting the fuel leak on the fuel rail adapter couldn't stop it leaking turned out to be small crack in the fuel rail!

Had a spare hour this morning wired up the fuel pump and made a start on the digi dash just waiting for a couple sensors then dash will be finished
