Boost pipes nearly finished just need couple more bends, also fitted new cv joints so the drive shafts are ready to put back in. The list is slowly getting shorter.

Not much has happend since last post. Had some problems with the drive shafts they wouldn't fit in the diff properly so ordered mgf pots which are smaller and now sits in properly but I have to remake both drive shafts!

Let me know if you can't find any drive shafts because If my shafts end up ok then I'll have some spare mini ones :)

Managed to get one, I've cut the long one up to use on the short side thank you though. Hopefully get time today to turn them on the lathe

Got the shafts all cut and machined hopefully weld them tomorrow

Drive shafts sleeved and welded booked a few days off work in a couple weeks so will hopefully make some good progress

Bit more progress brake pipes finished, boost pipes all routed, battery cables fitted, drive shafts refitted, filled engine and gearbox with oil, made a start on the engine loom hopefully get it running over next couple days

Mate the rover engine doesn't use wireless spark plugs, you need to have them fitted for it to start.

Done a compression test and it was down to 25psi, was going to take the head off and see what was going on. But as I was taking the cam pulleys off they was on the wrong dowels so swapped them over chucked it back together and it now runs!

Been chopping loads out of the rover loom now all thinned down and re wrapped, now making a start on the engine loom needs couple bits changing as the turbo is in the way

Haven't done much to it lately, had a big tidy up in the garage and the engine loom is now finished, also made a start on the mini wiring.
