My 1982 '95' pickup has just returned from a very serious rebuild. It has come back with everything new but the bulkhead, The rear light apertures are now different and take the form of an elongated vertical hole approx. 51/2 inches high by 21/4 wide with 4 mounting holes for the light cluster. The rebuilder thinks they are the earlier variety but didn't take a lot of notice while welding them on. I'm having problems finding out what they are and where I can get some more. HELP PLEASE !!!

Thanks Guys, You are confirming what I have been told already. I have P4 lenses and chrome but cannot find any backplates/bulb holders to fit the mounting holes. I have tried most of the regular suppliers including a P4 specialist (J.R. Wadham) Anyone got a secret supply ???

Not quite the parts are Britax on the later models and they also made trailer lights, the difference is that the Mini PUP ones have complete red lens whereas the trailer ones have a white window (for the number plate).

I have sorted my problem with PUP rear lights. I was advised to contact Somerford Mini's which I did and very quickly purchased 2 correct rear light assy at very competitive cost. Their online catalogue is well worth a visit. Cheers

I'm guessing you bought the later style lights (correct for your year) rather than the L558 P4 type ?
