im an electrical engineer mate - looking after various bits of machinery in a factory that makes tiles ( Johnson tiles )

Overhead linesman ⚡️

What do you do, What sort of person are you?

how did you get in that profession bud if you don't mind me asking , ive just done my first year of coming out of my time as a electrical engineer and high voltage stuff has always appealed to me

I trained as an electrician with seeboard when I left school, 3 years ago they decided they were stopping the contracting work so we had the option to jog on, or retrain as a jointer or linesmen.... Not looked back since.

If it's something you're interested in, have a look on your DNO's website and see if they've got anything for you.

Professional tinkerer / Historic race mechanic.

Personally I love the motorsport world, I get the social side of things along with hands on experience of building cars, fabrication, race setup. But aim for something you want to do and you should find a little niche or area you enjoy. Doing lots of voluntary work is a good way to find out what you do and don't like as you found! good luck!

Will likely have crossed paths a few times in that case, I have been running a few jags in the HSCC and HRDC championships this year. Who are you working for?

I've helped out with Wren Sport for a few seasons in Masters historic sports cars and gentleman drivers, not this year though, and with Linstone Classics in the hscc with f3 screamers amongst other things.
